August is the season’s last hurrah, there are so many festivals and events to look forward to. Whether your style is escaping the heat or living it up in the sunshine, you can find it all in our backyard. We are excited to pack our calendar with some amazing music, food and art. 1. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a wonderful place to peek into the underwater sanctuary we call home. During the summer, the aquarium hosts food and music on the weekends at Evenings by the Bay, with great local discounts. Finish out summer with delicious food and great music! 2. Even though its summer, we might not have the time to cook an elaborate seasonal feast. Sometimes, simple is better. 7. When we are a craving a taco, we want a cold drink to accompany it. We can’t wait to have both side by side at the Tequila and Taco Music Festival in San Lorenzo park. Local gin and agave maker, Venus, will be on deck as well as many other tasty taco and tequila makers.
