Downtown Victorian
This Santa Cruz Victorian had many beautiful original features, including coffered ceilings and wainscoting, but the kitchen and color palette needed updating to bring the home together. Strategically placed built-ins helped mesh the living and dining room seamlessly with the original architectural elements, and the client ended up with a more functional space central to the home. The kitchen received a full update as well, with shaker style cabinets, bronze hardware, and brass lighting accents. To energize and modernize the home, a bold graphite and teal color palette was implemented in the dining and living room, complete with a new painted fireplace.
